Meet the ARTIST

Zawadi is a Chicago-based photographer and creative. His work moves across portraiture, documentary observation, and more experimental image-making, guided by curiosity, attention to detail, and an interest in the stories held within people, places, and everyday moments.

After beginning his career in the arts, he spent several years working in the tech industry, where he developed a strong foundation in collaboration, communication, and thoughtful problem-solving. Zawadi is now returning to photography with a renewed perspective and a deeper appreciation for the creative process.

His current practice is centered on exploration, connection, and creating images that feel both considered and alive. He is especially interested in collaborative projects that leave room for experimentation, conversation, and new ways of seeing.
